Purpose:

To promote the purposes and objectives of the City’s Historic District ordinance, review and recommend to City Council the designation of individual historic properties and districts, and to review plans and applications as hereinafter provided for all construction within historic districts and construction or demolition pertaining to or affecting duly designated historic properties. To approve, approve with modifications, or deny approval for such applications in accordance with the prescribed procedures and guidelines. Studying and reviewing all tree-related matters of those on public properties within the City Limits.

Purpose:

To hold all public hearings on amendments to the zoning ordinance and map pursuant to SC Code § 6-29-760 (A).

Meetings:

First month of Monday of each month.

Purpose:

To hear and decide appeals where alleged there is an error in any order, requirement, decision, or determination by the building inspector in the enforcement of this act.
